Tropical Eats - STROUDSBURG

I will not be going back here, ordered food here a couple times in the past and it lacked flavor. Last night was the worst experience of them all(yes I decided to give them one more shot). My curry goat needed some salt, the Patties were stale, empanadas needed some help as well. I am from the Caribbean myself and the food here is just not a good representation of island food. The fact that they gave me Patties that were obviously sitting in the store for maybe a day or two is just down right unacceptable. If you are looking for authentic Caribbean or Spanish food, there are much better options in the area.

Tried to call To inquire about their menu for the day and they picked up the phone then hung up on me so they must not want anyone service going forward or too busy to take over the phone orders and questions

Hidden gem! We were surprised to find this little spot with totally excellent Caribbean and Latin food. The oxtail goat curry were both tasty and they had some vegetarian options too, like a really delicious chickpea potato curry. Bonus: the staff is super friendly! They added chairs to one of the tiny tables out in front of the restaurant so we could 'dine in ' because their back patio was closed (and there 's no indoor seating). Definitely get some roti with your meal and try the flan for dessert.

Every time we come home from trucking this is our first stop! Excellent Trinidad and Puerto Rican mix of food selections. Very authentic and delicious! Next time we will remember to take photos. Lol!

Just had some curry chicken and plantains. 10/10 i highly recommend this place
