The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very cozy, and our server Ellie was extremely attentive and took great care of us. Service: 5 Location: 4 Highlights: Quiet ambiance.

We weren't told our room was down two corridors and four flights of stairs. The beds were awful, could feel the springs. Flat pillows, cheap bedding. Dated decor. No WiFi Food drinks: Made the terrible mistake of eating here three times. For Breakfast, I had the Eggs Benedict. Would have been good if it had been served over warm ham versus refrigerator cold ham. Steak pie for one dinner. Lots of fat and gristle in the pie. Beef burger another night that was inedible. Packed with onions, dog food consistency.

Friendly warm atmosphere, great food and lovely Sunday roast. Parking is in the free carpark just 1 minute walk, highly recommend Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
