Simla Takeaway - Stratford-upon-Avon

We ordered the meal b for two people. there was a lot of variety, two sweet dishes, poppadome, 3 appetizers, 3 mini curries, a rice and a nan. for the sides: we saved picnics and that was delicious. the peshwari naan brot was standard. for the main were the meat pathia and the tikka masala delicious! but the prawn curry was quite bland. also on the menu there was no indication that these little tastes were curry. the tandoori chicken starter and the lamb tikka starter were very good. the wobble bhajis was so tender and had too much of the bind flour. the vegetable side dishes were great, especially the bombay potato. poppadums came with a lot of dips. overall we received a great selection of food and were satisfied how quickly we could gather on Saturday. although there were mistakes with a few dressed, it was a great worth at just £24 for all this food. would recommend this order for people who want a fixed for two on a budget.

I just ordered my first takeaway from simla, and I have to say that I was very impressed. the chicken was perfectly cooked, and very delicate to go with a lot of soaking over the soft fluffy rice. the portions were very generous, and the pipe hot, and the delivery was within 20 minutes half hour. I would definitely recommend simla for her Saturday night takeaway!

A great delivery for tired travelers from Australia returning to England for a visit after 5 years. Great food and excellent service, we miss English Indians. A few days later we ordered a second delivery and got a few freebies as we were regular! Highly recommend.

Absolutely an amazing hidden gem of an Indian takeaway! As a taxi driver in Stratford-upon-Avon, I really know what I'm talking about! Some of my regular customers drive up to 25-30 miles just to get their food from here. You have to try it! The friendly and professional staff have been running this place for over two decades, and their passion and dedication to their food truly shine through!
