Janice's Bbq Pit - Stratford

We always stop at the pit when we were in the area. The fish and homemade Hushpuppies are great! The hot relish and the chicken fried steak are above the top! Great food!

First time visit! Everything was delicious, hot and fresh! I especially enjoyed the brown beans, best I ever had!The waitress was superb. She never slowed down. She handled the whole dining room, took phone orders AND the drive thru all by herself.. . She knew the locals by name and their orders. Owners need to give her RAISE and don't ever take her for granted!

Mixed opinions... good service. Some food was good. Everyone loved thwir fish and salads. I was so excited to eat BBQ... but man oh man. The BBQ was awful. Tasted like 3 day old sliced roast beef and my baked potato was cold and hard. The other food was good... but why not call yourself a diner and ditch the BBQ.

My favorite restaurant of all! A piece of my childhood that i hold onto. Bless you all, thank you for still being my absolute favorite place!

Food was great , good portions and delicious, staff was polite and served customers with a sense of urgency not taking there sweet time . wait time was extremely fast . I will be stopping again next time i come through !!!
