The Wildseed Restaurant Bar - Strafford

We were on the road from St. Louis to Dallas and it was dinner time. We didn't want fast food or truck stop food. I did my usual yelp search and found this place. With the good reviews and pictures we decided to give it a try. It was right off the highway so that was a plus too. We didn't want to get too far off the beaten path. The service was fast and friendly. There were plenty of different choices on the menu and the bar drinks are reasonably priced. The bread they bring out at the beginning is delicious!!! Our dishes were really good too. I would highly recommend

Ate here with my sister. One of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at in quite awhile. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant and clean, and the service was fantastic. Absolutely recommend this place!

We went for dinner came back for drinks entertainment. My husband I team truck drive so it was great to have a restaurant w/ bar entertainment. Staying next door at the Super 8. Couldn't ask for a better location to do a restart. Say high to Tall Paul at the bar!

It makes me so sad to write this because I loved this place when I first tried it, but I went in the other day for lunch and it was awful. We were one of 3 tables when my sister and I were seated. We put in our order and the appetizer came rather quickly! Yay! But then we placed our entree orders and watched 3 more tables get seated and served before us. This was strange to us because my sister just ordered their signature burger and I ordered a half a salad. 30 minutes later, we still hadn’t even been checked on by our server. Finally I waved her down and asked where I food was and we were served it in about ten minutes. My half salad was missing ingredients and dressing. I was so disappointed. The server waited another twenty minutes to come over again and I told her about the salad. She asked if I wanted it to-go, since my sister had completely finished her burger and we had been there an hour. I almost lost it. I calmly told her I didn’t have time for that and I didn’t think it was fair I should wait that long for a salad just to be forced to take it to work with me to eat it. The HALF order was $8, too. Needless to say, I won’t ever be back here again which is a shame because I live literally 4 minutes from here in town.

Very good food and service. Sauces and seasonings make the dishes better than some. Carrot cake was wonderful.
