The Farm Shop - Stow-On-The-Wold

I made a reservation on a whim when I decided not to cook for dinner. However, when I arrived, there was only one other table occupied, which created a rather lifeless atmosphere. The restaurant only had two tables, and while the server might have assumed he would remember my starter, he didn't. He apologized when he brought out the starter along with my main course, but that wasn't the main issue. The food itself was good, but there are more inviting restaurants nearby, so I likely won’t return. It seemed better suited for lunch. The place had a somewhat melancholic vibe, as if no one was sure why it had opened that evening.

We had a wonderful dining experience here while staying with our family in one of the Daylesford cottages. The service was exceptional, and it was perfect for bringing our little grandchild along, allowing us to take a stroll around the farmyard between courses. The atmosphere is bright and airy, and we enjoyed a great selection of beautifully presented local dishes.

The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. Although March evenings aren't their peak time, it was still quiet and pleasant. The pizza was excellent!
