The Fox Inn - Stourbridge

An awful experience! The service was dreadful. Despite booking a table at 7:30pm we did not have time for the dessert before the 10pm curfew!! One starter didn’t arrive until 5 minutes after the rest of us had finished eating our starters! Waitress gave us the dessert menu at 9:50pm, never re-appeared for the order. Then a couple of minutes later a waiter (who seemed to be in charge) came with the bill to take payment. At the table he proceeded to remove his mask, saying “I’m glad to get that off it’s soaking”, screwed it up in his hand and shoved it in his pocket. Then handed us the card machine with the same hand! ???? At no point were we asked to register our visit on any trace and trace system either. Definitely not a Covid secure venue!

We have always celebrated our family birthdays at The Fox, but this year we decided to do things a little differently due to the current situation and take The Fox to my Mum to celebrate her 81st birthday. And what a wonderful evening we’ve had with the most amazing food. As usual the service was excellent, my daughter placed the order for five starters and main meals yesterday to collect this evening. They were all ready and waiting at the agreed time, packaged really well and the quality and taste was top notch. Well done Team Fox, you never disappoint and we are so looking forward to visiting you real soon ???? Thank you Xx

Always a nice experience, friendly staff and great service. Food is never a disappointment, highly recommend the Fillet steak.. cooked to perfection. Great venue overall, highly recommend it!.
