Is a good environment, staff are very pleasant and beer is good, just knocked off a star as place needs some work doing inside as where we sat there was mould all on the wall and ceiling. A traditional older style pub with friendly staff, decent ales and pub food all at exceptionally reasonable prices. It could, perhaps, do with a lick of paint and a bit of modernisation here and there, but that might spoil the feel of the place. It would also increase those prices!
