Rödluvan - Storlien

Cozy restaurant by the hill. Ok prices with nice food. Very nice staff. Sometimes has surprises on the menu There are good coffee and chocolate drinks and hot. Chocolate with cream, marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles which became the children's favorite

Remember Rødluvan well from childhood. Nice to have lunch in there when we were skiing in Storlien. Hot and good and good food. The problem is that nothing has happened in the last 40 years. The premises are exactly the same. They have removed the stairs down to the lower floor. Probably because of the sewage smell that came up on the main floor from the toilets downstairs. But the sewage smell is still there. It has eventually become really unpleasant at Rødluvan. Was really disappointed last weekend also when it turns out that there is not après ski every weekend in the season. There is more than enough market for après ski every weekend at a ski destination like Storlien. Plus for a good entertainment factor when Afterski is actually carried out and very good French fries. Big minus because the whole building needs a complete renovation and stinky sewage smell in the room.

Nice place for a rest on the ground. Good food and drink and decent prices.

Fulfills its function, but the food was not great, everything is fried in the same fryer so everything tasted the same. The chili con carne was micrad but only lukewarm, the rice cold. Cozy open fire and a good waffle anyway!

Can really recommend their goulash. Clearly affordable and friendly staff!
