Jack Astor's - Stoney Creek

Walked in took about 10 minutes to be seated even though there were less than half dozen tables in use. I saw wait staff. We ordered 1 pound of honey garlic wings which garlic was basically undetectable. Also ordered the Buddha salad which was good. Dressings for the wings salad on the side which were nothing special. Ola our wait person was wonderful.

The food was excellent as always, but what really stood out during our visit was our server, Chantelle. She was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs, offering quick suggestions and accommodating our special requests. She was also very kind to the children in our group and went above and beyond when she found out it was my birthday. Chantelle brought out my dessert with a sparkler and serenaded me with a solo rendition of Happy Birthday, which was a sweet touch. She was easy to talk to and displayed professionalism throughout our meal. We will definitely be returning and requesting to be seated in her section. Overall, it was a memorable birthday dinner thanks to Jack Astors and, most especially, Chantelle. Thank you!

I ordered a Buddha Salad for my dinner because it comes with quinoa and it’s filling and has protein. When I got my salad, it had no quinoa. It was an expensive lettuce salad. Had a few nuts for protein but not very filling for a dinner.

I find it funny more places still don't celebrate happy hour. At jack Astor's still does half price appetizers and cheap drinks from 3-6. The patio is nice and has lots of space, one of the only few in the area. The service is friendly and quick and the food was also pretty decent for a restaurant chain. Recommend checking it out.

Great family stop. Erika was a great server! She recommended 4 great Canadian beers for my flight, and introduced us to poutine, yum!! The atmosphere is fine for a family, not overly bar-ish. Nice selection of drinks for the grownups, and the teens loved the nachos. Not sure who liked the art and wall hangings of Gary Larson cartoons the most. We were all very happy with our lunch stop.
