Ihop - Stones Corner Australia

I love this IHOP and the area it's in. The staff was friendly. I met up with friends there after church and it's just a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be going back again soon. I live in the Stone Oak area so it's very convenient.

For some reason we (family of 4 which included my wife and 2 children) had 2 unpleasant experiences at this location, the first was several months ago when upon waiting patiently for 10 minutes to be seated we where overlooked and other people where seated before us. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for and extra 10 min to only be passed up again and where not seated and left at that moment. The second time just happened this morning when we decided to try again because we like Ihop , this time is was my wife and 3 kids which included a new born. Upon arriving there was one person with a carry out order waiting for change from his payment so we decided to wait because it was only him and no wait, the restaurant wasn’t busy which was a plus because we would get our food fast. When the hostess returned with said change for the customer that was waiting she did not address us in any fashion or acknowledged us and proceed to go to the back of the restaurant and we where left just looking at each other with a puzzled look on our faces. We waited for about 6 min with hungry children but the hostess did not come back to sit us… not sure why this happen again at this location.

Food came out quick delicious. Ordered pancakes, french toast, belgium waffles and homefries. Everyone enjoyed their meals and our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back tomorrow

The new ihop on Bulverde just opened today and I know all the waitstaff are young and new but they need to be trained better. Our waitress took so long delivering our food it was cold. The butter didn't even melt on the pancakes. All you can eat pancakes, but never asked if we wanted more. My sandwich came with a salad which never came out till I was done. No napkins had to ask for them. She never came to pick up our bill after I had to ask her for it and flagged down the manager to pay it. May wait awhile before we return.

We waited 1 hour for our food kept asking waitress if food was ready? At the end they brought us someone else's food. I wonder if they lost our ticket or if I was being discriminated because we were Hispanic ? Either way we left
