Bidrage med feedbackWent to the restaurant the Friday before Christmas. Ordered a bowl of a sauce that is served with a meal. So I could just dip the tortillas in it. Was not very hungry. So just something easy and a snack. They would only sell me two tortillas. The reason is because they didn’t have enough, but yet they make them to order. Also order a beer. They should be welling to sell how ever many tortillas I want, as long as I’m willing to pay for them. Will never eat here again.
I first walked in with my guitar and my bag and went to the bar to have a drink. There's a lot of homeless people in this area so it was kind of a test. The bartender quickly served me and no one even questioned why I had the equipment. They even offered me a table. On my way out I went to the restroom which was really hot. So is in the middle of the restaurant, the restroom, and it's air conditioned I think, but by the time I handled my business I was sweating. And that is about the only negative that this place has. The food was delicious. The service was kind and on point even the manager came over and asked me. Was everything great during the course of my meal? It's like they got restaurant 101 down. They make their own tortillas and you can go and watch them doing it, so there is some craft going on and show happening. It's just a real genuine dining experience. It has the big tables for big families and they're not really crammed really close together but you get the feel that this is a family restaurant. There's ample parking out back and in the front and on the side. So this place is in a really good position on the water. I really enjoyed this restaurant and I hope that they do well. Oh, and the only other caveat is that they do not serve you food to go off the back dock. You have to walk in the front door and talk to either the bartender or a weight staff in order to order and then they'll hand it to you and then you can go out the front door. Seems like a missed opportunity.Kid-friendliness: There's plenty of ample space for children to sit at a table and not be uncomfortable or cramped. They have high chairs and it's an environment that's very family friendly.
My experience would have been a whole bunch better if the homeless mentally ill lady wasn't allowed to roam from table to table harassing people, and literally reaching into their plates, and taking food. It was my first time there, and brought a friend for her birthday. The food was good, but It wasn't very relaxing at all.Food: 4/5
I was super excited about trying place but very disappointed with the food and service. One person takes the drink order, and then serves it to u. And another person takes ur order. The person that took the order didn't come for a very very long time. I would say a good 25-30 minutes. And it really was not that busy. Once we got our food it was not flavored very well. I expected more but it was disappointing. The only thing that was exceptional were the drinks and alcohol. There isn't much more I can say about this place. I don't feel as though I will go back unless it's just for drinks. But I'm a drink and eat kinda guy.
Fantastic Mexican food! Fresh tortillas that you can watch being made. Authentic flavor north of the border. This location was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad they did! 100% spot on!Friendly staff and very quick service. No issues. I will definitely stop again when I'm in the Stockton area.
