85c Bakery Cafe Stockton

This bakery cafe is always a must-have whenever my family is traveling out of town. My parents enjoy their pastries and bread while I enjoy their drinks! 85 Degrees is a self-serve bakery where you grab the tray at the front and get your own bread and pastries. For cake and drinks, you head to the front counter for the worker to either make your drink or grab your cake! The bakery itself is very calming and clean, however, it is small even though it looks big on the outside. You would think it was a big cafe with indoor seating to simply relax and hangout or study, etc. We went in at around 9:45 am and there were not many customers at that time thankfully but when looking at the layout of the place, I couldn't help but think about how it looks like when the place gets busy. When lines get long, it'll wrap around and overlap with the bread/pastries area as well as the customers trying to pick out their food. It would look like one big mess but I know it can't be helped because they do have limited space. But just a heads up to perhaps plan your trip to the bakery in the morning for less cluttered lines and fresh bread! :

We don’t live near an 85 degrees but will always go out of our way if we are near one for their premium milk cakes and iced sea salt coffee. Highly recommend!!

First time there, large variety of pastries ?. I didn't see prices on each one of the different pastries, so it's hard to figure out how many to buy as a new customer.

I've been to this store several times in the last couple of months. I really have no issues with their desserts, my favorite is the blueberry muffin (not sure what it's called there).My one problem is my pet peeve... Namely, I don't want to see someone's pet in a food store. I don't care if the food is wrapped the person really keeps said pet clean. I guess I'm old fashioned like that. So if that doesn't bother you... enjoy

I purchased a cake and it does not come with anything other than the box. if I don't see the customer ahead of me has plates and candles i would have not feel like this, i guess maybe because the lady was too busy flirting with that male customer and forgot mine?
