Chelas - Stockholms laen

I recently visited this restaurant and found that it was very busy. The waiter told us to wait in line and assured us that a table would be ready for us in 20 minutes. He suggested we go grab a drink at a nearby bar and said he would call when our table was ready. Unfortunately, after almost 2 hours, we still had not heard from them. All the nearby restaurants were full and our night was completely ruined. Thank you for such a disappointing experience.

Chelas always delivers a pleasant dining experience with excellent service and food and wine that you will absolutely love.

We tried the fish tacos and pulled pork tacos, and they were both delicious and warm. The refreshing sauce helped balance out the greasiness of the deep-fried fish. The homemade taco bread and tortilla chips were far superior to packaged ones. The only downside was the slightly damp taste of the deep-fried pork skin. The cocktails were also creative and flavorful.

This was my second time visiting and the service was great this time as well. Had some different starters, corn, refried beans and guacamole. All of them very good. The tacos were okay, but not as high in flavor as I would have wanted. Churros can be shared, big portion.

I was invited to Chelas by a friend, she is Mexican. She knows what good Mexican food is. I love the bone marrow tacos, the one with chicharon and the totopos and guacamole. I forgot what drink we had but it was definitely very, very nice. Service was friendly as well.
