Following few online reviews and recommendations, we recently dined at Angler and opted for their barramundi fish and chips, priced at $30 plus tax. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The single portion size didn't justify the cost, and when compared to other establishments, we found better value elsewhere. Although the fish itself was fresh, the batter left much to be desired with a burnt taste and a lack of flavour. The chips were satisfactory, and the mayo served as a decent accompaniment. Angler's dine-in space is limited, accommodating around 4-5 tables. Our overall ratings reflect solely our experience: 2/5 for the food, 3.5/5 for the ambiance, 4/5 for the service.

Despite the hot day we were gobbed smacked at the knowledge of the waiter with oysters, the owner with her fish....
