Bidrage med feedbackLocated in the remote wilderness of Scotland, this restaurant truly goes above and beyond. When the irresistible scent of freshly baked scones became too tempting to resist, I had to order some. To my delight, they were promptly delivered right to my door.
The location is breathtaking, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious! My family of five visited the Pier cafe for the first time since it was under new ownership. It was nice to see the cafe open during the quieter winter season, and we truly enjoyed our experience. I would definitely recommend trying the Haggis and Red Onion Chutney toastie, it was exceptional!
James lives nearby for years but never ventured here before. worth it. An amazing view point and jaw dropping scenery is matched by the top class food and fantastic service. We had Cullen skink and a homemade pizza and both were excellent. Will definitely return to try their breakfasts.
Absolutely love this cafe with stunning views. We have eaten here many times and keep going back for more. A great selection for lunch and all made fresh when ordered..the drive down is all part of the special journey and when you arrive...WOW!! 5 STARS FROM US.
We loved the Pier Cafe. Firstly, gorgeous setting! Don’t let the long drive out you off, just relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy. The cafe view over Loch KATRINE is well worth the time it takes to get there. Cafe was a little busy, but staff were all very friendly and the food was very fresh and tasty. I had the smoked mackerel pate, which was home made, tasty and given as a very generous portion. Couldn’t decide between that and the Cullen skink, maybe I should have just had both! Rest of the family had more ‘normal’ choices (toasties and jacket potatoes and chips), but everything was great. As a bonus, soft drinks felt reasonable too, and not totally over-priced as you get in some places.
