Freight House - Stillwater

Maddie G. Was awesome she went above and beyond. As a prior server 3 different times, I know what it is to be a server and setting yourself apart. She was sweet, attentive, genuine, and gave my husband and I info on the bikes trails, which was very helpful. The food was delicious and worth the money for the portion. Have never been disappointed with the Freight House, but this was by far the best experience yet! Thank you!! We will definitely back. Maddie G. Is a gem!

We ate outside later in the night. The night was beautiful with the atmosphere; great waitress, great food, and an even better experience with being so close to the river. A true piece of history while enjoying great food! We had the Shrimp Street Tacos, Cheese Curds, and (I can?t remember the name) a bacon pulled pork burger. We highly recommend!! Also, dog friendly!! They have dog treats on the menu.

The patio was spacious and lively. The staff were incredibly friendly and worked hard to keep things moving. Our food took a bit longer to arrive due to a shortage of staff. My husband ordered the freight house burger, and it was fantastic. I had the chicken sandwich, which was decent, but I prefer my chicken to be more substantial. We really enjoyed the smoked chicken wings; they were well-seasoned and delicious.

The fries topped with parmesan and parsley were absolutely delicious! I also tried their pastrami sandwich, which was fantastic, especially with the sauce! The service was friendly, too. They have a spacious outdoor patio that accommodates both small and large groups. It’s kid-friendly and has seating and parking accessible for wheelchair users. Be prepared for it to get busy during the nice weather months. The menu offers a good variety of options, and there’s even an outdoor bar!

The restaurant features a lovely patio with a view of the river. We received outstanding service from the bartender, who was also attending to the tables. While the food was on the pricier side, it was quite delicious. The patio is spacious with ample seating. I didn’t go indoors, but it looked inviting.
