Cafe 88 - Stillwater

Cafe 88 is always good. I don't eat here super often, but the fact that the quality has stayed consistent since I was a Freshman a decade ago is an achievement all in itself in this city. My personal favorite is the Orange Beef, but I can also speak to the quality of their Fried Rice and most of the appetizers (which make excellent snack food).

I haven’t had cafe 88 since I graduated in 2020 but let me tell you… this place is special. I’m 500+ miles away and am writing this review because I remembered how damn good this little join is. It’s so good I’m writing a review even though it’s been 2+ years since I had It. If you’re from Stillwater, you already know about this spot. If you’re not, try It. Everything about this spot is special. Damn I really want some cafe 88 right now

Really enjoyed the pork fried rice (very similar to hibachi, and at $10, a great value). Ordered broccoli beef for my wife with a level 1 spice, and it came out too spicy for her, so I ended up switching plates with her. Next time I will order no spice on hers. Also got the egg rolls and fried dumplings. Both super solid! I will be back. Very intrigued to try their Thai bubble tea.

The food and service are great, prices are ever-so-slightly high for the servings but this is a great lunch or dinner spot, it's local as well so very worth supporting considering the food and service are as good as they are!

Friendly service. Nice bubble teas. Very hard to find when picking up food for first time. Tiny restaurant.
