Bidrage med feedbackOn March 12 , We, my husband and I shopped at Wholefoods in Cupertino. We are seniors: 79 disabled) and 80. We wanted to buy something to eat for dinner. 1.At the food counter there was no one. One team member, no mask, came over. We asked her to wear a mask as we are in the risk group, but she would not. We know the rules , however, we strongly believe that if elderly and disabled people ask someone, who works with food, and breathes on food, to wear a mask, while serving a customer., the request should be respected and not dismissed. 2. There were many mask wearing working personnel around, but none took care of us. We waited for more than 10 minutes , please bear in mind that I am disabled and standing is an ordeal for me, before someone finally came. This took place only after we asked for the store manager. 3. I have written, called , emailed Wholefoods all in all 7 times. Got an impersonal reply saying that someone from the Cupertino store would be in touch. Two weeks have passed, and no one bothered to call us. We are quite disappointed with the service at Wholefoods. In the past, before Amazon took over, service was way better. We hope someone will give us a call at least as a token of respect, and that customer service will attend to our complaint and improve the service.
I 'm been coming to this location for quite some time. I prefer to get my produce here and they have an abundance of juices, bulk food, vitamins, supplements. I used to be able to get a great sandwich called the 'Turkey Grinder ' here, but they have ceased making it. I drink a great deal of tea too, but they have cease carrying my favorite tea: Choice brand Twig tea. This I have to order online now. With the Coronavirus, social distancing is now practiced to get into the store. People line up outside and stay 6 feet apart. Inside is a different story however. Most wear masks, but like everyplace, there is that occasional imbecile who doesn 't. Also, in spite of signs posted everywhere for people to practice social distancing and stay 6 feet apart, the produce section is usually overcrowded. Social distancing is not practiced in this section of the store. People linger in the section. The store needs to institute some type of mechanism to limit how many people are in this section of the store at the same time. I observed this on a Saturday, so maybe that is the wrong day to go. I don 't think it 's as bad during the week before 3pm. Good place to still get my produce, but the store needs better enforce social distancing inside the store.
Going with five stars because whenever I have questions about food and other Items I get the answers I want. They have a pretty extensive produce and dairy cheese area. WOW. That makes me so happy! lol. I'm a very snack kind of eater and so I like to a la carte my grocery shopping meaning that I will do a haul for specific plates, bowls or dishes. As of now I am on a MAJOR smoothie kick so I like to grab stuff like chia seeds, almond butters, alternative milk, powders and that makes up the bulk of my outings here. lol. It's so fun to shop at health food stores because I love reading the labels and also finding other quirky shoppers that do the same. I need to check out the bulk bins more to get some granola and nuts like almonds. The Navitas super food snacks are really good, but are kind of pricey. So worth it. I want to try some homemade recipes sometime that will be so fun. Worth the stop to try something new, right. Enso#37 Big lot lots of parking. Masks for customers wiped down carts and baskets. Flowers. Bamboo chopsticks. _We are going to make it happen!
This is for the meat department. Was there today usually it is crowded with customers and people taking numbers. Today there was just 2 of us waiting to be helped, and at one time I counted SIX meat cutters/servers behind the counter. Not one of them asked if they could help, or said, it will just be a minute, or gave any indication that they had an inclination to help. Nothing. It was probably just a little over 5 minutes, but when you 're just standing there being ignored it seemed much longer. I know some people have faulted the merger with Amazon for the decline in morale for the once happy, friendly WF employees. I don 't know what it is, but I 've definitely noticed when people like their jobs the atmosphere has a different vibe. The service today was clearly lacking. Update. 5/15/20. Whoa. Once again, very rude employee in the meat department. What is going on there? I regularly have the butchers cut chicken or various meat when I purchase it. Today my daughter was buying groceries for me and when she asked to have something cut, the reply was, we don 't cut meat here. Really? I have years of shopping at Whole Foods and getting meat cut that says differently. This is not the service I would expect from Whole Foods. Very disappointing.
I always joke that if I dropped off the grid and my friends can't find me...just wait in front of Whole Foods in Cupertino and I will eventually show up. I am seriously at this market daily. Come early in the morning for the freshest and best selection of produce and to avoid the dreaded crowds in the afternoon and long lines. Everything is neatly displayed and the produce is just A+ and you can shop peacefully. The meat section is my fav as I always need my pork bones and chicken feet to make my weekly stock. Ronnie is super helpful and always hooks it up when I can't seem to find where all the chicken paws went and SHAZAM he comes out from the back with a giant box for me. Love it. I really believe in you are what you eat and I refuse to buy meat and produce from other stores because I have been clearly spoiled by how much better the quality is here. Love your body, your family and eat organic. New update: I came this morning for some hot chicken soup, and a lovely gentleman by the name of Anthony went above and beyond for me. His customer service has been the best I've seen in customer service industry. I was waiting for soup to come out since 9am and by 9:20 it still wasn't out yet. I asked Anthony to see if he could check when the soup was coming out and he asked me what size did I need. I asked for a medium and he went to the back kitchen and came out with the soup, double cupped so it wasn't scorching hot for me to hold. It had a nice even amount of noodles, veggies and chicken and soup. He had a great attitude and smile on top of that. I hope that the store sees this review of him because he truly should be acknowledged for his service. It's rare to find this when you have so many customers on a daily basis. Go Anthony! Update: Evarardo goes the extra mile every time I come in to buy meat. He has a great attitude, smile and cheerfulness about him that makes him stand out. He always prepares the meat so beautifully and takes his time to do his best. I hope someone from the store sees this review for him because it is pretty long overdue. His attitude and professionalism makes the company and store look great.
