Absolutely amazing, the hangoverlette is a winner! Will definitely go there again, great service!
I just tried Homelettes for the first time today and let me tell you it was definitely easy like a Sunday morning. The experience was unlike any other restaurant I have ever been to before. The chef is a master of the kitchen and interacted with the customers in a way to make the whole experience something I will never forget. I had heard before that the chef often pulled out his guitar to take his customers through a journey of music and of culinary excellence. On my particular experience I ordered the 'Dieu fromage ' or Cheese God. The explosion of flavours I tasted was unlike anything I have had before. Something important that the chef appreciated is that my French style meal demanded something with a little more emotion and heritage than the guitar could offer. I was pleasantly suprised when the chef put away his guitar and proceeded to 'rock the harp '. This again proving the chefs diversity to impress in the kitchen and on the stage. I have to say that my experience here was so good that I can not see myself making another breakfast dish again. I definitely will be returning to Homelettes and I can 't wait to see what the next experience entails.10/10 definitely a must have!!
I went to Homelettes over Easter with some mates. It was pretty busy, but that didn 't stop the chef known as Renna from giving us the authentic experience. Using his trademark 'one man, one pan ' approach he was able to feed our entire crew! He did this all while parading around the kitchen giving impersonations of both celebrities and well known locals (ask for 'The Ranga ' . We were thoroughly entertained. Make sure you stick around Homelettes for a while so you can take it all in. On occasions Renna likes to slap the strings of his guitar and release the mighty beast within, we had the pleasure of hearing countless classics, all with a bit of Renna spin. I indulged in the 'fromagelette '. Inspired by some distant and possibly unrelated French Homden heritage, Renna throws four types of cheeses into this glorious hangover tamer. Tastiest omelette I 've ever eaten. Can 't wait to return.
Wow! What an experience down at Homelettes, great atmosphere and great service. I had the HomeLOT and it was a feast, complimented with an iced coffee. The chef is a comic genius and charms the customers with his good looks and quality banter, and if you 're lucky, he may even serenade you. I recommend this place to anyone in the area, the famous 'one pan chef ' can keep up with any demand.
