Wade's Store & Deli - Staunton

In all my 54 years, I have never heard that someone calls this little country store as something else than HILLTOP. My daughter and I used this place as a meeting place to swap my big daughter, who would have been with me last week, but I would have said that Let's only meet Wade 's, she would have it for directions that believe she was not familiar with him. It has been for a few years when I was at HILLTOP, and since I was in the decision what soda I wanted, I looked around as it saw as it did 10,20 years ago! I notice the extremely pleasant one more feature that remained the same) lady rings my Mt Dew, I wonder how many years this ole building was really here... it does not seem to have actually aged as all things do. She didn't know the answer, and I added, I'm glad to see that it's getting strong! That still means in business. It is just a scenic, rather ordinary little mother and pop type store small deli) to my best description of this vintage, general store from another time that has only developed a little to still use the community! People work as well as the patronage are always so friendly and polite. It could almost be compared with Floyd 's Barbershop in Mayberry - the community meeting point- to grab a soda and a hot dog at better prices than you 'll find you in other places in the city and a nice conversation with another loyal HILLTOP friend!

I love Wades Deli because they have the best roasted chicken in the valley, that would be the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

They had my son and daughter-in-law at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Best decision ever!! What a relief was to know that they took care of this important part of the wedding. I received many additions from our guests. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Sharon went over and up! Would highly recommend this cat!

Small business filled with delicious lunch and you get a smile and will also leave with one.
