American Ale House - State College

Sincerest thank you to American Ale House for helping our family celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Corina, our server, was excellent and so friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. It was a wonderful experience and we appreciate your hospitality.

Mediocre food, long wait to get a table, to get food and even longer to get the check. Worst service I have ever seen. I understand the restaurant couldn't care less since the dining options in town are limited.

One word to summarise the food here is: OVERPRICED for the food you get.Calamari is ok, a bit too salty imo 6/10 $16)“Colorado Prime ribs” is just a dry cheesesteak with a dipping soy sauce water lol 2/10 $16)The indoor atmosphere is impressive in the middle of State College. The live bands is lovely, the light atmosphere is ok, but you keep hearing things dropping in the kitchen haha. But good job they try to make this a good dinning experience I would give atmosphere a 7/10

Thai Chicken Salad is worth the trip!!Very good meal.
