The Bull And Swan - Stamford

The management (charlotte) and the staff are extremely friendly, professional and efficient. charlotte sorted the couples that I had at the arrival, and I was made to feel very welcome. the bull swan has a wonderful cozy ambiente in the bar/restaurant. and my room excellent! outrageously opulent superb bed linen on a huge comfortable bed. and many nice little touches on the room including a comprehensive tea/coffee dish. I am here for three nights. day two sitting near the beautiful warm fire in the bar/restaurant with just finished tasty Schellfisch chips last night was the game cake. of course, this is eating. jummy! and now to live to my palatial bedroom, I can not recommend the bull swan very much. management, staff, eat, room all 5 star plus!

We arrived early so had a coffee while sorting out checking in. John (we think) was lovely and sorted everything out, our rooms were absolutely beautiful, the roll top bath was a fantastic bonus! The little extras in the room were really appreciated. Breakfast was lovely, all in all a great find, will definitely be back! Xx

I can’t say we are new to the pub game but we are definitely new to the puppy game so we were delighted to find that the Bull Swan welcomes well behaved dogs. The anxiousness that comes with taking a 14 week old pup into a pub soon disappeared here as the team couldn’t do enough to welcome us. The food was fab, the wine chilled, the puppy welcome (and I think well behaved .
