Matthew's Bakery - Stamford

Wowzers! I was totally blown away from this place. totally unexpected. drove by and had to stop when I was a sweet freak. so many choices of delicious and delightful little baked, cake, cake and a great variety of broth. Latin aromen rich. I had a chocolate eclair, an apfelstrudel and an individual pecan pie, all were fantastic and fresh. they must pass and try their many selections. they will not be disappointed at all.

Yule log cake okay. Bunch of plastic decorations on it not sure who thought that was a good idea. Cake dry. Croissants very good fluffy and buttery.

We love Matthew's Bakery in our household. I accidentally stumbled over this local bakery and since then fell in love with their products. Their breads, Tiramisu, cookies and carrot cakes were delicious. Tested, tested and highly recommended! Every local business of such great quality needs a scream and support. I wish I could post a picture of the goodies, but they're so delicious that they don't think long enough for a photo session. If you want to get about what you want (please trust me that they have so many articles, you can not go home with just one article), talk to the staff that are helpful and friendly. They usually speak Spanish, so please be aware and respectful about it. Try it out and you will not be disappointed!

I've been buying from them since I was little. Although I am sad that her first location has been closed now, wherever I have the chance to go to the new location I do. I started buying her bread, then went to the biscuits and now I'm buying everything! I love their fruit cakes, always one for my day. Your cookies are so delicious. Terrible people. Just because someone is dressed nice you shouldn't overcharge for a very small cake for 2. Not the best way to make business by ripping them off based on how they look; thinking you need the money more than them. What a shame!
