The service at this restaurant is consistently excellent. The staff is always friendly whenever I come in.
This restaurant is a great spot for ice cream and more. The air conditioning is very effective, making for a comfortable dining experience. The six staff members behind the bar provide excellent service to customers. They inquire about allergies and provide detailed information about the ingredients in the ice creams. The tables and toilets are kept clean. The restaurant is conveniently located near the high street and the River Thames. Highly recommended.
If you want delicious ice cream this is the ideal place
Went in with my wife, was immediately ‘greeted’ by a security guard and a list of questionsno ‘hello’ or ‘welcome’just “eating in or takeaway?what are your allergies?” we hadn’t even got more than 5 feet into the building, I answered that we’ll have a look at the menu and then decide. So then we look at the ice cream counterand while I’m talking to my wife, we get interrupted by a guy behind the counter with the same questions, and again, no ‘hello’ or ‘welcome’. I felt pushed around and like they didn’t want us in the place. Terrible customer service. The first point in making a sale is to help you customers feel welcome and relaxed and help them gain trust in you and your business. A security guard and 20 questions on a Sunday afternoon isn’t the best way to do this. We left straight away because we wanted a relaxed experience, not one that felt like we were being hounded by debt collectors or something. I’m giving 2 stars though as we went years ago and it was far more welcoming and relaxed. But these new staff need better training. (Speaking from 25 years experience in the hospitality industry).
