Bidrage med feedbackIt is SO nice to have a Persian restaurant southern side of Nova! It?s not always practical to go to Tysons for Persian kabob. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! First time trying it out today- *this* is the taste you are looking for when you want Kabob!!! I?m telling y?all folks, The seasoning, the juiciness of the meat, the fragrant and delicious saffron rice, their signature saffron Chicken is mouthwatering- the chickpeas!!! I?m usually not a fan of chickpeas from the restaurants
I first stumbled upon this place because I was in the area running errands and was looking for some place to eat. I found this place on Yelp. I was surprised to see an Iranian restaurant in the area considering this is Stafford County, VA. This is NOT Northern, VA, Washington D.C. or Montgomery County, MD. The first time I came here I ordered the Kubideh Kabob. It was absolutely delicious. The meat was high quality and was very succulent and flavorful. It was served
From the friendly greeting as you walk in to the tasty dishes such as the beef kabob, Shandiz Kabob is a hidden gem off Route 1 (and near highway 95). What makes this little restaurant standout is their consistent quality to each of their dishes. I 've been going to Shandiz Kabob on a regular basis week after week and I 've yet to be disappointed. If you love kabob 's and Middle Eastern cuisine, than I highly recommend Shandiz Kabob.
Saffron Chicken was good. Lamb, rice and chickpeas were ok, have had better rice and chick peas at most other kabob places. Usually naan is part of the meal but here they charge separate for the naan .
Shandiz Kabob have very good hospitality, professionalism and even better food. I never had Persian food before coming here but once I tried it I prefer it over anything else now. If you haven't been here before make a trip because it's well worth it!
