Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I had dinner at this pizzeria/restsaurant with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. The owner tries very hard to serve genuine food with fresh local ingredients, and she succeeds very well at it. We ate only first courses: gnocchi filled with nettles, passatelli with zucchini pesto and tagliatelle with ragu. The pasta and gnocchi are all homemade and very tasty.
A firm favourite, dependable cooking and friendly. Not expensive, a great place to get a good meal without spending too much.
The pretty village of Staffolo, as well as Il Giubbi ', its best restaurant, are normally out of the beaten path (thanks God! . But if you you 're looking for something special, you should really give it a try. You will find an atmosphere that is cozy and traditional without feeling corny or artificial: Ilde, the owner and chef of the restaurant, is an energetic person always surrounded both by foreigners and by fellow Marchigiani, and employing a similar variety of taste in her staff, her menu, her language and her restaurant (which is decorated with Dutch art museums paraphernalia, with great effect against the beautiful backdrop of the Jesi valley . The hotel is very simple, somehow spartan, but it 's clean and solid in that handsome 1950s way, typical of many buildings in the Marche. The rooms have a breathtaking view on the whole valley all the way down to the sea; the private balconies form a sort of sky high alcove from where you can enjoy the freshness of the summer breeze. But now enough about the atmosphere: the food is delicious too. My favourites where the home made pastas and the Pizza Infinita the name says it all. Among the pasta, I just loved the home made gnocchi ripieni di panna e ortiche (filled with cream and nettles , the gramigna and the ravioli. The Coniglio in porchetta was a great meat choice; the pizza was thin and light, just how I like it. I also have to mention the cute icecream shop upstairs, on the piazza, where you can meet the locals and chat with them; and the restaurant 's terrace, where you can eat al fresco , overlooking the whole valley below. One word also for the service everybody working here is friendly and efficient, such a great community. I am Italian but I live abroad since long time, and I truly appreciate coming back to my country to find a place which is so pleasant, intact yet entertaining; utterly Italian but also unpredictable; and which moreover gives work to a whole community: most (if not all of the ingredients used in the restaurant come from farms few kilometres away. If you are looking for the fancy mama italian experience, stay away from it (and from me! but if you are ready to question your idea of italian terracotta fake renaissance villa , eat some great food, and meet some great people then this is the place for you!
Confirmed for the second time the holiday at the hotel capri. family atmosphere, simple but comfortable rooms, clean, good ladies clean, always available to guests needs. well equipped seaside resort, friendly managers and beautiful sea for long walks on the wet. typical cuisine simple but of quality, fresh fish every day, big, compliments to cooks and mother of fernando.
Greeted by the waitress I understand everything that has been told to me that it is possible to order only from the mobile phone (qc,) even if outdoors. the absence of any exposed munù, denied the menu card, the other waitress did not even expose us to the various pizzas. (absence to the oo of technology also for a simple pizza.!) we started unscrupulous, while being equipped with smartphones. How to say....when evolved at any cost also annihilates a simple conversation! in another pizzeria....NESSUN problem, welcomed with readiness. You just don't exist.
