Want another option in St Pete for brunch? Melting Pot is a solid option. Melty cheese with ham and egg mixed in a fondue pot the dip breads, veggies and...
My wife and I had the special and memorable celebration of our first wedding anniversary, at the melting pot! alicia, billie and the entire staff went out of the way to serve us, and give us the experience of our life! the quality and taste of eating, the uniqueness of the atmosphere and the attentiveness of the family melting pot, made our special opportunity to remember for a life! if they really want to give their important other a unique and tasty gift, then spend an evening in the melting pot!
That wasn't my first last visit in the melting pot. I've been here for a few years for jubilee dinner, happy hour with employees and regular visits. this visit was a birthday party. to her birthday the pot brought a pretty pink spun-sprompted platelet with happy birthday written in chocolate, it was super sweet! the nature of the melting pot is fondue, they all share a cook “coffee” and they cook their eating individually, or coat in cheese/cholicas, as they see fit. there were three people in our dining room party, we were there around brunch time and ordered the groundless mimosas. first the moimosa is usually abi. with a squirt champagne but if they ask nicely, they will adapt their ratio! we started with the cowardly goat cheese toast. this toast was quite good, regular brot with a plentiful amount of flavored goat cheese, sprinkled with spruten and heifer and dipped with wildflower honey. I wish they would use local honey (save the bee! after the toast we ordered the classic alpine fondue together with the charcuterie board, which included: prosciutto, two species of salami, kalamata oliven, cowardly jam and cracker. the (comlimentary veggie and broth board was well equipped; as always, they can ask for a certain article. the apples were crisp and juicy, and the brot was firm with a little to give – they offer baguette and sourded porridge bites. for the main course we ordered the grill plate for the table top grill experience, for protein we ordered the honey orange duck breast and Teriyaki-Marinated sirloin, we also ordered the wild mushroom sacchetti. the main course comes with a plate full of mushrooms and mixed vegetables. the whole sweet was crisp and fresh! to finish our brunch, we ordered the yin yang chocolate fondue - half white chocolate and half dark chocolate - it is my favorite!
