Pofolks - St. Petersburg

Was skeptical to go but was truly blown away. Despite the thirty people waiting outside and the full capacity they had theybseated us within 15 minutes and our waitress was incredibly attentive and fast! We were eating within 15 mins of being seated and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone in the St Pete area that is crazing some phenomenal southern comfort food. The fried green tomatoes were magical!

Have loved their country fried samwich platter for 25 years at least, my love was their Seafood Gumbo, but they stopped selling it, their fried chicken is fab, you can't go wrong eating there, everything is great, even sausage and beans.

We used to have these in Ohio when I was a kid. I made a special trip to make sure to get to this one and it did not disappoint. Thanks for rekindling fond memories and tastes from my childhood. I just wish we'd have gone a day earlier to get some of that gumbo.

I come for the bone in catfish and fabulous hushpuppies.The service and cleanliness is a place that makes you feel you are appreciated to be there and they want you to feel good about coming.We live about fifty miles from PoaFolks but everytime we come for a trip to the Bay Pines V.A. hospital we have our favorite place to eat on our way back home.

After reading other people's reviews on here, I'm thinking they definitely did not eat at the same Po Folks I ate at! I eat at the Po Folks in St Petersburg about once a week. I love their Fried Chicken, I've tried the blackened white fish, had the cat fish! Everything I've ate there is awesome and the portions are huge, the sides can be a little bigger, the kids menu is excellent prices, all around this my favorite restaurant to eat anywhere!
