Flippers Pizzeria - St. Petersburg

This place is amazing. We ordered for the first time last year when on vacation and had to go back again this year. The hog and honey pizza is the best I have ever had.

I visited Flippers last week with my family. We arrived for a late lunch. I love pizza and am quite picky about my pizza. This place did not disappoint. We had half Flippers Big Pie, half Carne di Italia pizza and the Farmers Market salad. The toppings on both were fresh and of great quality. The crust of the pizza was great, so crusty and tasty. The sauce was delicious. It was just as amazing meal. This was my first but definitely not last visit. I'm looking forward toreturning.

I decided to try the California pizza recommended by Page and it was absolutely delicious! I called ahead to see if they had cauliflower crust and they did, which was a huge relief. Page was very helpful in providing her recommendation and her enthusiasm got me excited to try it. The amazing hospitality combined with the tasty pizza is what earns this place a 5-star rating! I will definitely be going back next week to try the Blanca pizza.

I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. I ordered the margherita pizza, which I always do when trying out a new pizza place. This pizza is generally a good test for me, and I must say, it was absolutely perfect. It was made in the traditional style with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh basil, and olive oil drizzled over the top. The pizza was cooked perfectly in a brick oven, and the crust had a really nice flavor too. I will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu. Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen, great job!

My parents and I visited the restaurant last night about an hour before they closed and we had an amazing time! The waitress was very friendly, kind, and funny, and the pizza was excellent along with the breadsticks! We would definitely return without hesitation!
