Birch Vine At The Birchwood

The food was carefully prepared and well seasoned, and the presentation was good. But we got the worst table outside – right at the hostess were groups of people standing at our elbows, talking loudly and shook their hair over our plates. We also informed them about Open Table that it was an anniversary festival, a fact that was completely ignored. We ate our meal and left no confirmation from the staff. In the last 2-3 years we had an excellent experience (our first), a good experience (our second experience), and a mediocre experience (our third and probably last since we have no tolerance for mediocrity in the restaurant industry). It's an okay place.

This place uses to be great what happened. The service was terrible. From trying to put in an empty dining room early on, saying that they can't put us, nor were friendly about it to the waitress. Not sure if she had a bad day or what, but we had to ask for things a few times and never saw them after a while. And finally, the food is on the hill. It was just ok for the money, but it used to be great.

We could eat outside and watch people. The cocktails were amazing.

Everything was very nice except it took a long time for our food to arrive. I had to get up and ask our waitress. When should we expect our food?
