Burrito Mercado has everything you need, from plantains to tomatillos, chicken feet, and chorizo, everything is there and fresher impossible. You can even buy freshly made sauces here! Burrito Mercado restaurant has seating or you can take the food to go. Soups, tostadas, fajitas (shrimp fajitas in the photo) and much more. The prices are great and the food is fantastic. Make sure to get the pickled jalapeños as a topping on your food, it adds just that little touch of spice and flavor.
If you want to buy Mexican food to prepare at home, or if you want to purchase typical items from this country to decorate your home, this is the perfect place.
I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this restaurant in Minneapolis while looking for a tasty breakfast. I was recommended to try their specialty, the birria tacos, and I was amazed by how delicious they were. The beef was incredibly tender and the tortilla was perfectly crunchy. The locals advised me to explore the menu further to fully appreciate the restaurant. Parking may be a bit tight, but it was easy to find a spot on the street. The restaurant is located inside a neighborhood market, which offers a variety of interesting items. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. I am thrilled to have discovered this gem and look forward to returning to St. Paul to sample more of their menu.
This is a very true authentic Mexican cuisine in the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota. Not a shocker when you arrive here. You're in the heart of the Minnesota and the Mexican and Spanish community. Diversity is good, especially when you live in Minnesota! There is not enough diversity going on way up here, but places like El burrito mercado help with that for people like me that suffer from diverseitis! Lol. The food here was incredibly amazing!!!!! Those are words that can't even describe how truly tasteful and scrumdiddlyumptious this place is. Check it out for yourself. I dare you and tell me if this is not one of the best tasting local Minnesota Mexico places to eat. FYI go here for lunch and it is really cheap. Their chips and salsa are hands down. Probably some of the best I've ever had.
Such a wonderful place. inside there is a market, a pastry counter, a deli and small food court, and also a restaurant. bathrooms are locked and you'll have to ask the cash register for the code. inorder and outdoor seating. hands down the best horchata I've tasted in the cities. its not watery at all, the cinnamon taste is smooth and there is a pleasant kinda thickness/texture to it from the rice. we got sopas, enchiladas, and tres leches.
