We were there at 12 a.m. and 30 minutes later almost everything was full... Ordnete carvings with plums, pommes, salad, liver dumplings with horse sauce and spice cucumbers, potatoes, all freshly prepared, very tasty, friendly staff, clean, beautiful ambience, happy to come back

Idyllic location, friendly service and delicious dishes The Ruine Kropsburg is situated on the mountain between Edenkoben and St. Martin. You don't have to come over here. You have to get up there. It goes on foot, by bike or by car. Next to the castle ruins from the 12th century The castle pots with a magnificent terrace surrounded by forest are located on the grounds of the former Vorburg. The friendly host has been popular with locals and many regular guests since 2017 and is recommended for holidaymakers and hotels. At sunny summer weather on the forest terrace we ate wonderful peat specialities and drank local wine: The 350 gram Rumpsteak with Brat onions and Baguette bread was a very good choice, it is also served with roast potatoes, frits and salads. The approximately 4 cm thick steak was perfectly grilled as desired. Outer pink with roasted aromas and inside pink delicate and juicy. The outgoing meat juice was wonderfully picked up with the baguette pieces. Also roasted onions prepared in a pan instead of a frit were very good for the wonderful meat. I cannot remember ever enjoying a comparable good landfill steak in the Palatinate at the sensation price of 18.90 Eur. My wife tasted the bat with horse sauce and good salt potatoes. The meat lumps were made from double-wolfed veal, beef and pork and tasted delicate and aromatic. Conclusion: The castle pot is not only a good recommendation for a coat on the terrace, but also a good address for steak friends. The Bosnian host offers typical peeling hospitality with a high entertainment value an original type.

Away from Edenkoben drone you find the Kropsburg... The path leads along the mountain over an old tar road, or over various hiking trails. Parking, however, should be done at the bottom of the mountain, as there are only 4 parking spaces available at the top No matter which way you choose, you always come by the pilgrim path, or even Martinsweg and the Lourdesgrotte. Rusticity and speciality awaits every visitor, which continues to the castle itself. From this self, may not be much present, but what you see is in a pleasant condition. In the castle itself there is an apartment and 6 guest rooms with good defensive food and wine....
