Rosalita's Cantina Des Peres

I do not recommend this restaurant. While it may appear to be a nice establishment, my experience was disappointing. I ordered tacos, but they were not good at all. They were overstuffed to the point where the tortilla couldn't even hold them together. Additionally, it took 40 minutes to get a response from the waiter.

Patio is beautiful. if they only go drink, they sit outside. guacamole tasted loadbought. the chicken tasted to the left. salsa was runny and bland. in the lou there are better Mexican foods.

Was very disappointed with the reservation. We were sat right away at a table with menus already placed at each seat. Later when the waitress came to take our order she said they were only serving brunch until 2 pm and our reservation was at 1:15pm. The brunch menu was only 8 items and a small box on the menu. We waited the 45 minutes until they started serving lunch because we were looking for a late lunch for Mother's Day. Most of us seated at the table ordered quesadilla of some sort and one person ordered fajitas...well over $80 for drinks (soda) and quesadillas and a side do quest...so yeah not really considered a good value. Staff was very accommodating since we sat there for 45 minutes before they started serving lunch. IMO, they should not have given us full menus if they were only serving brunch. They also should have either told us this with the reservation or posted it on their website. My dish was a steak quesadilla and it had so much cracked pepper on it that I could barely eat it. Took most of it home and then threw it out a few days later. Definitely do not think I will be going back!

We went there for mother's day lunch when we made the reservation it said they had full menu which is the reason we chose it, then when we arrived we were told they had a limited brunch menu, that the cook decided to do that morning.

Ambiance was great, they did a great job! Our waiter was very slow not very attentive. He also did not have any recommendations, he said he had not tried any of the food yet? We thought that was very unusual, the service people should really know what they're talking about. Anyway, it's a bit too busy right now, hopefully they will improve with time, we really need a good Mexican restaurant in this area!
