Wally Gertz - St Joseph

Stunning service all around!!! My dad's name is Wally and he grounded the family for the Griswold style vacations back in the early 90's and it feels amazing to be a beach with the same name gracing the beachfront with awesome foods, drinks and enjoyable items for the beach!!! We will truly miss you this fall and winter and the staff is so friendly we consider them family now!! Be back soon for more nachos and root beer floats!!!

This restaurant used to be a great choice, but now it's just not worth it. When you order chicken tenders and fries, you would expect to receive ketchup and sauces, right? I was asked if I wanted ranch or BBQ sauce on the side, so I chose ranch. Then I was asked if I wanted ketchup for the fries. What I wasn't informed of was that I would be charged $3.60 for two small ranches and four ketchup packets! Are you kidding me? My family and I visit Silver Beach multiple times a year, but I will never return to Wally and Gertz after this experience. It feels like a scam.

I've been ordering the Chicago style hot for years there, great every time. I really like this place, I look forward to stopping by when we make our annual trip

The man told me a different total when he charged my card. i only ordered fries and mozzarella sticks yet i was also charged $6 for doritos that i never ordered or got. he also never told me that marinara sauce or ketchup was an extra charge. didn’t look at the receipt til i got home. ??

Lemonade not too sugary, just enough lemon. Tourist priced.
