Rocket Bakery and Fresh Food

Great lattes and baking! Almond croissant was fabulous. All the staff were super friendly and happy. Place was busy but service was still fast. Great!

This restaurant is a popular spot for locals, but I have to deduct points for the difficulty of getting a seat at lunchtime. I haven't sampled their baked goods, but the regular menu items are fresh and well-prepared. Although I haven't been particularly impressed with the lunch options I've tried, I also haven't been let down. Overall, I'm indifferent - what's all the hype about?

Food is home made and prepared and baked daily. Best bakery in town. Delicious meal every time. You must try their Ruffino latte. Staff are amazing and make you feel like family. Love it!

We were in search of a straightforward yet tasty breakfast spot and found The Rocket to be quite satisfying. The fresh breads and scones, along with the fresh coffee, made for a delightful way to start our day. The setup is mostly self-serve, and the simple seating area is surrounded by large windows overlooking the street, letting in plenty of morning light. It was a nice bonus to see that The Rocket had been featured on You Gotta Eat Here. While prices may be a bit steep if you're a daily customer ordering sandwiches, it's not a problem for us tourists. It's a bit more expensive than Tim Hortons but cheaper than Starbucks.
