Piatto Pizzeria Midtown St. John's

GARBAGE! DO NOT EAT HERE. It's over priced and watery pizza sauce and such a small pizza for 22 dollars. I had a couple different pizzas and they were all burnt to a crisp and watery in the center. Sent one back and the manager came over and tried to tell us that we were wrong and that we should have known what the pizza was going to be like before we ordered it. I've never been shamed by manager for not knowing what my future meal would be like. This place should be closed forever. DON'T GO HERE!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

Stellar wood fire pizzas and amazing pastas. Atmosphere upstairs is a little quieter. Definitely recommend this place for an Italian experience.

Let me start off by saying the service was great. The meal itself was kinda mediocre; I had The Stephanie which was feature on some foodie tv show, but although the ingredients were done it just didn't taste as good as I hoped. The crust was kind of burnt which made every bite taste that way, which ruined the flavours in such a delicate pizza. It felt like there wasn't much care put into the execution of this dish.

I really liked this place it seemed like the newer location of an established place, and they were still getting their sea legs. Food was excellent, service was great. They were out of some wine and beer options which wasn't ideal, but everything else made up for it.

Overall very good quality of food. All the appetizers are of great quality, pizzas taste authentic and are always fresh, and the environment is very neat and quite pretty. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but this is generally at peak hours on the weekends. Great gluten free as well, it is impossible to tell the difference between that and the regular pizzas on a taste wise basis.
