Loong Wah Take-Out - St. John's

Ordered off of the 2 page Gf menu, restaurant has a dedicated fryer. Very good and reasonably priced. I will visit again.

With a group. Service and food, where very good. This is my new way for Asian food in St. John's. I gave up all my previous favorites! I'm going back, guys!

We ate here in a mood because it was close and open on a Sunday night. It's definitely a jewel. Our server was great and answered our questions about the menu and led us to an amazing soup that hit the place when I...was a cold. This is not your average Chinese restaurant, it is a few steps on the ladder. My only comment would be to change the menu to make it more descriptive because the food is unique. We will definitely return to try their other dishes.

I usually don't write reviews, but I read the review below and felt compelled to share my experience. Before moving to NL, I lived in several cities throughout Canada. My favorite foods are Asian or Asian inspired foods. I was so disappointed when I moved to St. John with the selection until I found Loong Wah. My favorite dish is a well-made pad Thai, and until I found Loong Wah, I tasted many crispy pad Thai's in this city. Your hot and acid soup is serious to die. You're gonna dream about that stuff, I swear. I also recommend the Singapore noodles. Your food is really made with love and authenticity, and the service is top Notch. Delivery is less than 45 minutes and brought to the door with a smile and a nice conversation.

We ordered the trip last week and the food was moderate. The vegetables were mostly overcooked and there was not much taste for the dishes, some meat with vegetables and a few vegetarian dishes. Probably not order from there again.
