Exile Restaurant review We had a table of 4 for an Anniversary dinner. The atmosphere of the hotel Jag and the restaurant Exile is definitely 5 star. The music theme is unique and refreshing and the location puts you in the downtown area. The Service in the restaurant was wonderful with the server being knowledgeable and curteous. We had a wonderful meal that was perfectly served by the attentive wait staff. The food itself was amazing, from preperation to presentation there were no complaints! The BBQ Beef Striploin with Old Sam and Pineapple Crush BBQ sauce was phenomenal! Among the top 5 steaks I have ever had, maybe even the top 3! Asked for medium rare and cooked to medium rare perfection. Others at the table had the pan fried cod and the generous portion was fresh, white, delicious and cooked to perfection as well. Special shout out to the chef for his/her moose corn dogs that my husband raved about. Everything was superb from appetizers to coffee and dessert. We will definitely be back and we will recommend to our friends and family.

Best place we've stayed so far. Can't say enough of the staff, room and food. Wish there was one in Nova Scotia!

The most wonderful and inviting staff greet you at the door to start your amazing stay. The rooms are fantastic, cool and hip (not to mention very clean), the bar has the best atmosphere and the food is superb. If you're making a visit to St. John's, the Jag should really be your first stop.
