Cora - St. John's

My experience at this restaurant was not great. I am not high maintenance, but the food was not good. The eggs we ordered were cooked to the size of a quarter, which was unexpected. The orange juice we ordered for $5 was so tangy that I couldn't drink it. I understand that they were busy and the workers were doing their best, but for me, this is a quality issue. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I hate to say it, but McDonald's would have been a better option.

The restaurant in Halifax insisted on an early start for us. The Cora food was as delicious as always, and the service was excellent. Thank you, Lori Lee.

Breakfast tomorrow. I thought it might be a bit busy, but were surprised that it wasn't (at least when we arrived) it wasn't long before it started to fill. the service was pretty good. coffee delivered, ordered and. it was not long before eating arrived. well presented and prepared, typical for coras. server checked and ensured that coffee was always charged. good place for a good, rich breakfast.

Amazing place for brunch. eating is great and the staff is super friendly. my only complain is that during my visit no coffee refills were offered (either with a bowl saw and sugar on the table), and the staff was very shameful about the contingent they handed out. my friend and I asked for peanut butter and jam and they gave us a package of jams, each and a package of peanut butter between us. When we were asked for extra, we got one more of each. it was hardly enough for our lust, but we didn't want to disturb our server again. ultimately, instead of handing over silverware and I separated, the whole silverware was placed in front of my friend, serviettes included. I didn't think that was very professional.

Myself and my friends and family frequent Cora’s quiet a lot.. we enjoy the food and atmosphere.. but today my friend and I waited almost 40 minutes and still no waitress not even a coffee). We watched as other customers came in and were served...and still no one approached us . Finally, we got the attention of the young girl who had shown us to our table and asked about the delay. the restaurant wasn’t full by no means). The girl had no reason to offer but offered to find someone to serve us but by then we had decided to try another restaurant . Very disappointed
