Helpful staff, good signposting. Great range of art and slot had good descriptions with the work. Light and airy and a decent amount of space. Good shop too.
Brilliant for a rainy day. Especially Yang's exhibition breath taking. It's the place to go if you think museums are boring because the last time you went was with a school teacher. It'll change your mind. Sure, noone ever connects with every piece, but there's loads of artists to chose from, and I bet everyone will find something of interest. Regarding the Covid safety, the place is very well organised. The staff was also very helpful and friendly when we needed to find loos and navigate our way back through the one way system.
I loved the shape of the building, the paintings we saw were lovely, I was just expecting a few more. The gift shop was good, quite expensive. We sat on the terrace for our coffee which was great.
I walked into a storm and made my way 200 meters to the museum, completely soaked and windblown by the time I reached the front door. The building is sturdy and located by the sea, clearly the safest spot to be during a storm. Inside, there’s a cozy gallery that showcases both local and international art. The café offers wonderful views, delicious cake, and the cheerful staff even sing along to ABBA. What more could you ask for?
