Bidrage med feedbackA small family-run hotel with very friendly owners in the pedestrian area of St. Goar, with charm and atmosphere; very quiet, large room with large bathroom (with large shower). Very clean. The room was refurbished and the furnishings are new. Especially the food is to be highlighted as both owners have gained many years of experience in many international kitchens, including Asia, and this is also immediately tested. Especially the pork carving with special pink panade was a dream until the last bite. We felt very comfortable here. Dieter SIEGMUND
Here I describe the 3-star apartment Loreley in a quiet location with balcony and terrace. The apartment is located right next to the restaurant in the apartment house. The 77 sqm apartment has a hall with wardrobe and shoe deposit, kitchen with all extras, a very spacious and modern living room with cable TV, DVD, video, telephone with free phones to the German main net, bedroom, bathroom with shower and toilet, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror. Bed linen and towels are included. From 52 € including additional costs and final cleaning. Of course you can also book the breakfast buffet and/or half board
We ate at this establishment twice during our stay. The setting is a little dated, but the food was very good, and we received attentive service. The portions were huge and the prices very reasonable! An odd compliment, but the side salad was really delicious.
There were two things that made Zur Loreley a standout in the town of St. Goar: (1) you have the option to order smaller portions of some dishes and (2) the staff and chef are very professional and customer-focused. This was our favorite restaurant in this charming town.
Not recommend by anyone we were fortunate to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant with Inside and outside seating. They have a small portion menu which was perfect for us and it was still a very nice size portion. We ordered the Wiener schnitzel plain and one with the mushroom gravy which was excellent - tons of mushrooms too and it came with a house salad which was very different but delicious. We had the fries and the spätzle and both were excellent. The spätzle light and buttered. The Riesling house wine was very good. We were so thrilled to get such an excellent meal for a fraction of the cost of a Michelin restaurant we went to last night and the food wasn't as good. Definitely come here for a meal as the food is great, service friendly and reasonably priced.
