The portions are generous and the fish and chips are excellent. The burgers are also delicious, as are the kebabs. Keep in mind that they only accept cash, but if you can manage that, it's definitely worth it.

When you call in your order, they provide you with an estimated pick-up time and have it ready promptly. The food is always freshly cooked, though prices have increased post-COVID. The large cod and chips costs £9.50 and easily serves two people, while the small size is £5.50. The menu also offers a variety of kebabs, spit-roasted dishes, pizza, salads, other fish options, sausages, cakes, and more.

We have been dining at this restaurant for several years now, and I can sincerely say that we have never been let down. The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and served by friendly staff. My son even said that the burgers and fries were the best he had ever tasted. Make sure you come hungry because they give generous portions!

Have never had a bad experience at this Chippy. You are Made welcome and the food is Cooked fresh Portions are good and the food is delicious. Decent Parking, the odd boy racer Coming in or out a little bit fast so keep you eyes open! some for the Barrow Ducks. I have to recommend the Cod. Simply delicious. nice light batter and not greasy. Great food, generous portions and sensibly priced. Very busy on a Friday and Saturday dinner time so best to phone your order through to avoid a long wait. The only minor grumble is they cook orders in the order they are placed regardless of size or content. So even if you just want chips and they're ready to serve, you have to wait for the 6 orders ahead of you to be filled one at a time first... a bit frustrating.
