The Leaf Cafe - ST CLAIR

We are big fans of the coffee at Leaf Cafe, particularly their mochas, as they use real melted chocolate (you can see them scooping it in as if they were in a chocolate factory!), which makes it much more delicious than the standard powdered chocolate at some other places. The only drawback is that because the coffee is so good, there can be a bit of a wait to receive your order. I once waited 20 minutes during a busy time. The cafe can be a bit dirty at times, especially during peak hours. However, the breakfast is fantastic and the croissants are always fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, especially the baristas. Overall, it is a great place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a good cup of coffee!

I went to Caffes with friends yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find that the chef had prepared a delicious delivery of mixed berry muffins for me at a great price to enjoy at home with a cup of coffee if I couldn't come in. My friends were amazed by how tasty the bacon and egg roll was, while another friend enjoyed a custom omelet with all the works.

The café can only accommodate a small group of people at a time. The menu is expensive for the portion sizes offered. Overall, they need to make improvements to both the menu items and prices.
