Sushi Ai - St. Catharines

We went to Sushi Ai for the first time last night and we will definitely return! Everything we had was incredible.

The service at this restaurant was friendly and attentive. They offer both all you can eat options and a traditional menu. A must-try item is the black tortoise sushi roll, a unique and delicious specialty from the restaurant.

I had a fantastic dining experience here, the food was amazing and met all of our expectations.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is clean and the food was great. Good value for the price too!

So we've eaten here in the past while visiting NOTL and it's always been good. Unfortunately on this occurrence, we were disappointed. Service seemed to off on this visit - they seemed unsure of themselves and often food sat under the warmer waiting for pick up. Our food was also little disappointing this time, toast was slathered in butter, fruit wasn't fresh, and both our poached eggs contained shell bits...disappointing - a bit of a turn off. We won't write this location off but I hope they can appreciate the fair comments.
