Louie's Cosy Corner - St. Catharines

With the family stopped while I visited my relatives in the area. From now on, I was impressed by how “through the book” the COVID protocol was observed. The staff was friendly, polite and well maintained. The food was good, with appropriate portion sizes, and with a variety of elements to make sure someone could find something they wanted on the menu. It was a local place with standard restaurant fare. It is not gourmet 5 stars Michelin Essen, but it is a meeting place for people to share a meal and a good time.

Stop for breakfast before you arrive on a camping trip in a remote area of Richmond County. There was so much food on the plate, I had to eat the next day! Delicious and full....a perfect meal before you go to a...summer outdoor adventure!

This place was... I mean a slim piece of browned salad on both burgers. My domestic pommes were sitting for eons I guess because they shrunk, dry, cold and hollow.. You read it right, hollow. The Chowder was okay except the fake... rolled crab. All in all a disappointing matter.

We were more than a bit careful to eat, but we went to breakfast with another liveaboard pair from the marina. We were very impressed by the measures to ensure a safe environment. At the entrance we were greeted and asked if we had been Bubble outside the Atlantic. (We were not outside the village in four months). We were asked to stay masked until our drinks were at the table and IF stood for some reason, mask continues. Easy game. Calm down, mask off. Stand on, mask. The three tables that were occupied were separated on LEAST 2m. Our beverage orders were removed (coffee round) and sugar and cream were brought to customer request as well as spices. We were immediately calmed and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Thank you for going beyond and beyond!

Went for breakfast a few weeks ago. Delicious breakfast--my husband loved the omelet. Very reasonably priced and service was good. Definitely on my list to go again.
