Kim's Wooden Nicol - St. Catharines

What do you expect in Nicol? Great place serving cold beer, good food! Chill Vibes! Definitely order the knots....bacon wrapped potato with jalapeno! The knot your boring burger is also fantastic!

We went in with some friends, the food was terrible. The owner is a walking billboard for unfriendly, unprofessional, inappropriate service. As she ended up in this business, is a secret because she hates clarity everything and everyone. I can't believe this place survived. The place is a dirty hole in a mess. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Most of the time, bar flies go from what I can find.

Three of us stopped and all ate different meals. Everyone found the food extremely salty. Since all three of us are in the middle of the 1960s, something is to be avoided. I was put off by the owner of this place. I was told her name is Kim. A middle forties grump. I ordered some chicken wings and a beer at the bar. Kim begrudgingly served them to me without a smile or a thanks for...your business. My beer was empty for 5 minutes before I had to ask for a refill. The place was half full and I swear Kim never cracked a smile the whole time. I won't be back.
