Jennies - St. Catharines

Went there for the first time after hearing about it. Had all you could eat soup and salad on for lunch. Got a sandwich instead-best sandwich I have had in a long time.

Not being ready for lunch, but needing a drink on a very hot day, we ducked into Jennies quickly and were not disappointed. The wait staff was extremely attentive, even though we only wanted drinks, and even though they were preparing for a large party for lunch, did not neglect us. They offer a small buffet lunch, and standard Canadian fare was on the menu. They even offer Gluten Free options in soups and breads.

This is a charming café, with very good food and great service. It is a short drive from Stratford, and worth a trip to have lunch and visit the nearby shops. Highly recommended!

Me and my friend were downtown St. Mary's and were asking where to go for lunch. We were recommend to Jennies. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely waitress. We had the salad bar, it was excellent. (Next time i will try the turkey club). Everything was FRESH and delicious. Loved the bean salad, and the homemade beets. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for the lovely service and food. I will be back.
