Chophouse Burger Bar - St. Catharines

Where should I start? I wanted to call my review as a hidden gem, but that was already taken. This place is great. The restaurant dining room and bar is very nice, clean and unique. The selection of beer and cocktails is unbeatable. The staff here are great and know their stuff. I had the build-a-burger here and I'll never go anywhere else for a burger. The patty is fresh and tasty along with the toppings. The rabbit should die. I had the Coleslaw, roasted red pepper tomato soup, sweet potatoes and regular pommes and all are probably the best pages I had around in every restaurant, all perfectly made with fresh ingredients. You need to check this place if you are looking for a new place.

In this restaurant, because in addition to the regular menu they offer both vegan and gluten-free menus. The vegan menu had no burgers and no protein in each of the dishes. After ordering gluten-free my sister ended with baked chicken on the plate. You made her court new after we asked. No one in our party really enjoyed their food, including those who ordered burgers.

When we visited this Burger Joint, I had never heard of them. We google mapped best burgers and that came up. We're glad we left. The burgers and sides were spectacular. I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is not located in a typical...restaurant area of the city, and definitely looking for it. The service was great. Admittedly, we were there at noon before dinner, and the server was very attentive and helpful. He was a nice man. The prices were very reasonable and it is worth a quality product like this. I highly recommend it. Many parking spaces on site.

The 50/50 was always my way to the Burger. I tried the Elvis (with 50/50 Patty), I will never get another burger again.

I’ve been meaning to try this place out for a while. We had the Pot Stickers, Angus Beef Dip and the Elvis Burger. Everything was excellent! This is the best peanut butter burger I’ve had. Most place are content to just put PB on a...burger and call it quits. The combination of the bacon, banana, and peanut butter is very good. Service was excellent as well. I will be back for sure. There’s a few more interesting burgers I want to try!
