Bidrage med feedbackFor a small Newfoundland town eat very well. I've been wondering. only ever one had taken, not sure that one had admitted.
We loved the quality and variety of Chinese foods we had for dinner there. when we could eat timely service and friendly staff.
Eating was good, clean, but not a lot. Hot food was served nicely. owner was friendly, came and spoke to us and tried to serve as we wanted.
Whenever we are in the Sidney area, we always make sure to stop by Dakota Cafe! The food is delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from. The portion sizes are generous for the price, making it a great value. The atmosphere and decor are lovely, and the service is attentive. Without a doubt, Dakota Cafe is my favorite restaurant in Sidney!
After posting my initial review, the owner contacted me and offered a free meal, but I declined as I did not write the review for free food. I decided to give the restaurant another chance this past week, and while the service had improved, the quality of the food was still disappointing. The price of $16 for eggs Benedict was reasonable, but I expected the hash browns to be homemade, not frozen McCain's hash browns that were bland and unseasoned. The eggs were well-cooked, but the Hollandaise sauce was too runny and barely coated the eggs. If you're just looking for a coffee or a nice view, this restaurant might be worth a try. However, if you're seeking a good breakfast in Sidney, I would recommend going to Five Dime instead.
